Cupboard series is a funiture series of basics. Basics because they provide the foundation to an interior but also basic in simplicity.
The base to the series is the cupboard. Most bookcases and shelving systems have either a supporting diagonal or a supporting plate which interrupts the simple horizontal and vertical lines. A self supporting connection, rigid in all directions leaves the simple and easy lines undisturbed.
A cabinet is made by adding a doors to the aluminium structure of the cupboard. From that same structure a table is derived. Both cabinet and table work with lacquered metal surfaces as an addition to their aluminium structures.
The series is modular, making it easy to expand your cupboard afterwards. A cupboard can become a cabinet or vice versa.
Hanger was a self initiated project. The design is made of full steel rods of varying sections. Bent and woven around each other they invoke the archetype by Thonet but distill it to a minimum. Carefully chosen bent points give it an almost human appearance. The small footprint makes it the ideal companion for the small apartment, yet the coat hanger is universally applicable.
